Birdwatchers have noted that Sulphur crested Cockatoos, parakeets, lorikeets, kookaburras and rosellas are common sights. You might rven spot a littler tern or hooded plover. A bower bird nest is near the "chookyard" with its resident rooster and chickens. Ducks and geese enjoy our lakes, and guinea fowl and peacocks strut their stuff.
A short drive to the Eurobodalla National Park seasonally provides sightings of the migratory eastern curlew, green knot, whimbrel, greenshank, turnstone and bar-tailed godwit, or sightings of the endangered long-nosed potoroo, and white footed dunnart.
